Backwater Snook Fishing in an Ultraskiff 360
In Late November 2017 I was out Testing my new Horizontal Rod Racks and the Air Adjustable Barstool Seat. I absolutely fell in love with this Ultraskiff setup that weekend. I launched at a place I had never fished before and not only did I catch Reds and Trout on the flats but there were Snook Everywhere when I ventured into the residential canals. I found success catching Snook, Trout and Redfish on the Mirrolure Mini-Dine and the Paul Brown Soft-Dine. I don't usually run into Snook when I fish so I went back to the same spot the next couple of days and fished the same tide. Although I caught a ton of small snook I still managed a 22", 25" and a 28" Snook. I went back in late December and couldn't find a single fish there so I suppose it was a transition phase for these fish. Hopefully in March when the first warm-up happens I can go back and maybe run into them again. It was a blast.
